Warning Lights

Warning lights shall be electric flashers with a bidirectional two lens head assembly. The lenses shall be a minimum 15 cms in diameter. The intensity of the warning lights shall be at least 4 candle power and the flash rate shall be between 50 – 75 flashes per minutes. Normally, warning lights shall be placed on all barricades, open trenches donge or between the streets and the adjacent construction sign. The Engineer may direct the placement of additional warning lights at any location on the Project.
